"I am now back at work but am still thinking about our wonderful stay to see in the New Year (group of 16). I have read through the other guest comments and agree with all of them. The staff were fantastic and worked incredibly hard but always with a smile. Nothing was ever too much for them. The food was wonderful, the setting of the hotel is fantastic and I have already recommended it to my sister and her husband and I know they would love it as much as we all did. "

"Enjoyed a fantastic three-night stay during the ‘mini heat wave’ in August. I can honestly say that I’ve never stayed anywhere so accommodating of children (mine are six-months and seven) or so wonderfully relaxing for adults.The rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious enough to incorporate a travel cot without problems and the staff are, without exception, genuinely helpful and lovely. The location is second-to-none and the food is delicious. My eldest is still talking about the breakfasts with nostalgic relish and gets misty-eyed when he thinks about the beautiful young woman who was so kind to him every morning when he went to the restaurant with his granny. This was a very special break for us, not least because my 65-year-old mum used to come to Camber every year with my grandparents as a child. It was also the first time my baby had stayed away from home. As Autumn begins to close in we each cherish our memories of our wonderful holiday and can’t wait to return to The Place as soon as we can. An enormous thank you to everyone for making us so welcome. "

booking and despite the fact that you were extremely busy we were looked after whilst we waited for a table. The evening was
made even more special by the charming young waitress that looked after us for most of the evening, Jess. We will definitely

"I arrived a little late in the evening to enjoy an evening meal. shame as the food looked great. Nice clean large room
and lovely young friendly local staff. I had a later start than normal and had a lovely breakfast and then a pleasant stroll
along the sand dunes which are opposite the hotel.. Wished I had a little more time to enjoy the atmosphere of the place
which was very calm and relaxing. Would not hesitate to book again"

"Stayed here one night and it was so nice we didn't want to go home so we stayed a second . The staff were friendly
and attentive. The room was clean with little extras like a DAB radio and an integrated TV/DVD player with a selection
of DVDs to borrow from reception. ..... Would stay here again and would certainly recommend. The service was fantastic,
food was delicous and good value for money. I would definitely stay here again!"
